Purpose of the operation

RD Motion offers innovative solutions for mechanical and tribological testing of power transmission components, e.g. gears, bearings, etc. We specialize in plastic and composite materials, where there is a huge lack of material data related to the materials' fatigue strength, wear behavior and friction, which are required for reliable design and optimization of power transmission components.

Our multifunctional testing system, the MTP-5, developed during the course of the operation, brings testing of plastic power transmission components to a whole different level. The device is the only product on the market that enables acquisition of all required material properties in one place.

With automated testing, we aim to provide the required material data with unbeatable speed, price and quality. The operation is co-funded by Republic of Slovenia and European Union under European Regional Development Fund.
